A day in the pool ...

I decided to surprise Blake with a trip to Aunt Corine's pool today. I loaded the car up with all kinds of pool rafts, diving sticks, goggles, a life vest, and some snacks. After picking Blake up at daycare around noon, we made the trip to Allegan.

Blake felt the most comfortable with his life jacket on.

My cousins Paige & Chop were there too. Blake was thrilled when Chop became a dolphin!

Blake really wanted to jump off the diving board.

But he was very terrified.

Chop offered to catch him.

"C'mon little buddy ... you can do it!"

"1 .... 2 ...

... Nope!"

"Will it help if I stand next to you?"

"What if I hold you and we'll go together?"

"... and 3!"

"I did it!"
