I am beyond excited. Life is unbelievably awesome right now, and I can hardly sit still...
My baby's last day of daycare is today. (Technically it's not his "last" day, as he'll still be going there during winter & summer breaks and snow days. But for the sake of my story, it's his last day). He starts Kindergarten at Vanderbilt Charter Academy next week Tuesday. We made it! This day has finally arrived. They always say to treasure your child's younger years as they fly by very quickly. For me, because it was such a struggle and an adjustment to be a Mom, each day was long and difficult, and I could not wait for Blake to grow up. Now that we're over that hump, being a Mom is just plain fun. We have a great time together, and it's so exciting to watch him interact with others and show off his brain capacity. These moments of being with him are awesome, and I do indeed treasure them.
Blake started soccer this week, which is another dream come true. I love being able to dress him up in his soccer garb, and bring snacks & drinks for the whole team. Truly fun times indeed.
One more exciting event in my life ... Jon gave the ok for us to return back to Bethany Christian Reformed Church. That is my home. I love that Church, I love being involved there, and I love everyone who attends there. I grow so much spiritually when I'm there, and it makes me very happy.
Life is good ... and God is AWESOME!!!
What a post full of hope. And i love to hear you are going back to Bethany. I can "hear" in every post you mention of them that that is your true spiritual home. God bless you and your family!!! - Pam
